Xbox Kinect 360 - How Technology
and Entertainment Keep You Fit at Home
Keeping fit and healthy should be
everyone’s dream. Most people nowadays are taking shortcuts to keep healthy and
losing weights by taking pills and supplements. This maybe largely due to time
constraints because of long working hours and may also be due to the attitude
of taking things lightly and finding a shorter way to lose weight. Whatever
pills or supplements you are taking, which mostly we believe can help us losing
weight and keep healthy, the ultimate best way is to do exercises instead. According
to the Fitnessmagazine.com as it quoted from James Ting, MD, a sports medicine
physician at Hoag Orthopedic Institute in Irvine, California, “Exercise
stimulates neurochemical pathways in the brain, resulting in the production of
endorphins that act as natural painkillers”. Exercises can also get rid of
toxins and some experts believe sweating can flush the body of system-clogging
substances like cholesterol and salt.
Most people know the importance
to exercise but so lazy to go out to the park to jog or going to the gym just
to be on a treadmill. But surprisingly, some people are willing to die on a
treadmill, including the actor Will Smith who once said that he is willing to
die on a treadmill to keep fit and healthy. But that is pretty odd to most us
out there. There are so many reasons and excuses for us not to exercise.
However, will it be good if you can just exercise at home almost exactly like
going to the gym? You can even have a personal trainer to show and lead us on
various exercises, everything from the comfort of your home. I decided to buy
Xbox Kinect 360 which helps me to exercise at home via interactive gaming
application which uses infrared to detect your movement direct to TV monitor.
There are plenty of interactive games you can choose to get sweat. No worries of bad weather conditions as you can just do exercises at home.
How the technology works on X-Box Kinect 360?
...track your fitness progress...
..play games, be active and burn your calories...
